Emily Memarzia works as a consultant at the grass roots of Tech City in London, helping start-ups on their journey to commercialisation, and facilitating partnerships between talented innovators, investors and brands. She discovered her own entrepreneurial spirit when bringing Digital Shoreditch (www.digitalshoreditch.com) to life as Festival Director, nurturing it from an idea to a week-long festival with over 2,000 attendees, national press coverage, and an ongoing collective. She also works closely with start-ups and luminaries focusing on wearable computing, fashion, retail and connected cities at IC tomorrow (www.ictomorrow.com); a Technology Strategy Board programme to stimulate innovation and economic growth in the digital sector. She has recently set up a new venture with her cousin, Mitra Memarzia, which explores the intersection of technology and human nature through interactive installations and experiences. Her obligatory tech blog can be found at www.smilemachine.com What is Emily talking about at Learn Do Share LONDON? Check out the programme for Friday from 13.00
