Alex Fleetwood founded and directed Hide&Seek, a game design studio dedicated to inventing new kinds of play. The studio occupied a unique position in the UK, creating innovative games, installations and events with organisations including Film4, Tate Modern, Warner Bros, Gâité Lyrique, Nike, Sony, the Royal Opera House and Kensington Palace until its closure at the end of 2013.
Hide&Seek achieved worldwide recognition, successfully crowd-funding one of the first UK game projects on Kickstarter, featured as one of Gamasutra’s Top Ten Game Developers of 2013 and invited to be Artists-in-Residence at the Southbank Centre, London.
